These scales are made of aluminium and have been finished by anodising, however they have some scratches and blemishes that may not be suitable for jewellery, but would be ideal for a post apocalyptic design. 
 
To join the scales, you will need 16swg 5/16" rings.
Scales may have sharp edges and are not intended for the use of children.
